We are seeking an experienced and skilled Import Manager to oversee and manage our company's import operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with import regulations, managing import logistics, and coordinating with suppliers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Import Operations:

• Manage and coordinate import shipments, including customs clearance, transportation, and warehousing.
• Ensure compliance with import regulations, laws, and policies.

2. Supplier Management:

• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers.

3. Logistics and Planning:

•  Plan and coordinate import logistics, including transportation and warehousing.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of imported goods.

4. Risk Management:

• Identify and mitigate risks associated with import operations, including compliance, logistics and supply chain disruptions.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. Experience: Minimum 15 to 20 years of experience in import management or a related field, preferably in a public limited company or a similar industry.

3. Skills:

• Strong knowledge of import regulations, laws, and policies.
•  Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage and coordinate import logistics and supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in MS Office and import management software.
