We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a strong focus on UAE VAT and Tax regulations to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the company’s financial records, ensuring VAT compliance, and providing strategic tax planning and reporting support in line with UAE laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings.

• Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT laws and regulations, including accurate and timely filing of VAT returns.

• Conduct periodic internal audits and VAT impact assessments.

• Manage tax filings and liaise with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) on all tax-related matters.

• Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and local regulations.

• Provide guidance on tax planning, risk management, and cost control strategies.

• Support external audits and coordinate with auditors as required.

• Keep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and accounting standards in the UAE.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA are preferred.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 years focused on UAE VAT and Tax.

• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT law, corporate tax framework, and FTA compliance procedures.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
