Job Description: |
Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing construction projects, managing teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, and meeting project goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects.
- Prepare detailed project schedules and ensure timely completion within budget.
- Lead and mentor a team of civil engineers, supervisors, and site staff.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with regulatory codes and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and recommendations.
- Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project delays or failures.
- Maintain accurate records of project plans, contracts, permits, and progress reports.
- Provide detailed project completion reports and handover documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional certification such as PMP or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum of 03 - 05 years in civil construction or project management roles.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Familiarity with local regulations and building codes.
