| Job Description: |
We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Manager to join our Marketing team! As an SEO Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and managing our client's SEO strategy. The selected candidate will interact with clients as well as work closely with the company team to make sure that the client’s monthly SEO targets are achieved. The ideal candidate should have vast experience in onsite, offsite, GMB, local SEO and should have the passion to meet monthly SEO targets.
Key Functional Areas of Responsibilities
- Work towards organic search optimization and ROI maximization
- Create SEO Plan for new client with extensive research on the target audience, competitors and SEO Strategy for our clients.
- Perform keyword research in coordination with client business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
- Provide SEO analysis and recommendations in coordination with elements and structure of websites and web pages
- Provide recommendations and execute/manage strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals – general and keyword specific
- Develop and implement link building campaigns
- GMB optimization, local SEO to city and state level.
- Onsite optimization through URL architecture, Title, Description, H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6, content
- Implement and administer search engine programs (Google analytics, XML sitemaps, shopping feeds, Google search console, webmaster tools, Bing Webmaster, Robots file, Sitemap xml)
- Citation/local business listings
- Location content creation for ranking in local areas.
- Local online classified ads Blog incorporation to the website.
- Bloggers activities/Bloggers event to get natural backlinks.
- Press releases publication for PR
- Knowledge of Forum like: Quora/Answers/Reddit regularly participation, if applicable.
- Very few social bookmarking for newly created internal website or blog pages
- Influencer & Affiliate marketing
- Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings
- Monitor and evaluate web analytics dashboards and reports in order to develop and recommend SEO strategies
- Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results
Professional Skills & Qualifications
- Proven 3+ years experience in Search Engine Optimization (Onsite & Offsite)
- Proven 2+ years experience in Google My Business and local SEO
- Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, web CEO etc)
- Experience working with CMS and building/administering content in multiple CMS environments
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS and website administration
- High-level proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
- Experience using Moz, Ahref, SEMRush, SpyFu, Keyword Everywhere Etc.
- Experience in Local viking Web Audtior, Web CEO will be a plus
- Website development in WordPress will be a bonus
- Excellent communication skills
- BSc/BA in Marketing, Business or related field
