An international NGO is looking for the services of a Research Coordinator, Gender Disability Electoral Working Group (GDEWG) as Consultant for its project.

• The project involves technical assistance to the Government counterpart and support to Pakistani civil society organizations implementing various project interventions.

The position will be reporting to the Senior Gender Advisor and will assist in effectively carrying out the tasks based on the scope of work given below:

• Under the overall supervision of the Country Director and reporting to the Senior Gender Advisor, the Research Coordinator, GDEWG will be responsible for the following;
• Assist the Government counterpart in executing the research/case study planned to be conducted in Sindh and KP related to women’s voters turn out. In this regard do the following;
• Contribute in finalization of data collection tools including questionnaires for interviews and guiding questions for the Focus Group Discussions (FDGS)
• As part of the research team, conduct Focus Group discussions (FGDs) and Key Informant Interviews (KIIS)
• Prepare minutes of KIIs and FDGs
• Assist in the analysis of the data collected, and writing of the Case Study for final approval of the Government counterpart
• Prepare presentations for disseminating the findings of the Study to the GDEWG members   
• Coordinate GDEWG national and provincial meetings, maintain members lists; draft meeting agenda, minutes and prepare follow up plans.
• Maintain updated workplans of the GDEWG’s national and provincial chapters.
• Provide up to date information related to GDEWG meetings, members profile and any other information required to update the GDEWG Portal to be established with the Government counterpart.
