| Job Description: |
- To ensure the smooth functioning of Polishing operations.
- To ensure that production targets are achieved related to Polishing.
- To help the Line Supervisors to get results of desired production quality and quantity.
- Responsible for making necessary arrangements to run Production as per plan.
- To liaise with Store & Inventory Department for timely availability of material, tools and spares related to Polishing.
- To coordinate with Maintenance department in case of any maintenance issues and reduce downtime.
- To work in close coordination with all the Managers / HODs of other departments and fix the problems in production.
- Ensure safe custody of company property including machines and equipment.
- To minimize the raw material and production losses / wastages.
- To ensure that consumption of materials, energy and other inputs are within budgetary targets.
- To monitor the condition of polishing machinery and equipment and ensure their cleanliness as per defined SOPs
- To recommend/suggest economical solutions of the problems by taking the rational utilization of man, material and machinery into consideration to improve the efficiency of the department.
