| Job Description: |
- Ensures safe and efficient operation of Crude, Hydrotreater, Plat former units, Utilities and Off- sites. Checks and monitors operation of all plant equipment, machinery and instruments.
- Optimizes usage of various chemicals and ensures a satisfactory inventory level of various chemicals.
- Ensures a 2 hourly operating data of all units is properly recorded in log sheets. Reviews operating data, analyses variances and reports these to Shift Manager.
- Participates in various Test Runs carried out by Technical Services Department.
- Highlights / resolve any abnormality in process/equipment & timely intimate to Shift Manager.
- Coordinates with the maintenance department for job execution.
- Suggests modification or plant improvements and discuss these with Shift Manager.
- Monitors consumption of own use fuel. Adopts energy conservation practices in consultation with Shift Manager, so as to optimize usage of own use fuel.
- Assists Shift Manager in preparatory activities for Turnaround, Participates in catalyst regeneration, Plant shutdown and start-up activities.
- To ensure compliance with all relevant HSEQ policies and implemented standards as applicable.
